JUVENILE JUSTICE MINISTRY (JJM)

ESTABLISHED IN 1991

JUVENILE DETENTION PROGRAM | We provide students in a local facility with weekly group interaction and meet other material needs.

DIVERSION PROGRAM | ****

  • “SNAP BACK IN” DISCUSSION | 2ND MONDAY OF EACH MONTH | 4:30 – 6:00PM | TEEN CENTER
  • “NO CAP” DISCUSSION | 3RD MONDAY OF EACH MONTH | 4:30 – 6:00PM | TEEN CENTER

ADVOCACY PROGRAM | When requested, we partner students transitioning out of a local facility with an adult advocate.

Ministry Community Highlights:

  • Launched a new Diversion Program in November
  • Regular appointments to visit young people in Advocacy Program relationships

Ministry Community Prayer Requests:

  • Students currently in placements throughout Iowa
  • Meet our financial needs to hire a new JJM Area Director

Ministry Community Needs:

  • 3 Sunday Chapel volunteers, 5 Advocacy Program volunteers, 2 Diversion Program volunteers, 2 Character Building Group volunteers
