This past year has generated tremendous growth within the YFC staff with six new staff members joining our team in the last 12 months. That makes Siouxland YFC a staff of 18! It is our pleasure to introduce the newest additions to our team: David Mitchell and Josh Parkin.
David Mitchell is also a Student Advocate at Sioux City North High School. David grew up in Colorado but now lives in Sioux City with his wife Sarah and 4 kids: Jacob,14, Josiah,12, Addelynn, 6, and Judah, 3. He enjoys small woodworking projects and being involved in his church’s youth programs. Prior to becoming an advocate, David was a construction foreman and is excited to see how God uses and directs him.
Josh Parkin has joined the YFC team as the Le Mars City Life Teen Center Manager. Josh was raised in Le Mars. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Dory, and his son Elliot, 6. Prior to his new role, Josh worked in transportation and has been a volunteer for City Life at the Le Mars Teen Center for the previous four years. He is excited to learn and serve alongside the Plymouth County team as a staff member now.
We praise God for providing these staff to help us move forward towards our goal of reaching 2400 kids in Christ-sharing relationships annually.
