The Lord Added To Their Number Daily

Looking back, we clearly see God’s hand directing YFC to newer and greater opportunities. In fact, there are more opportunities than resources and leaders to reach lost youth right now. In 1 Chron. Jabez cried out, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory…” and God granted his request. We are seeing God granting our requests as well. As each ministry area looks back on this past year, we hope you detect God’s blessing on YFC: New collaborations, partnerships, and more young people experiencing Christ-sharing relationships within safe ministry communities.

In Acts 2:47 Luke announces, “…the Lord added to their number daily those that were being saved.” As you read over the metrics we share, the statistics represent individual young people; their lives, stories, and souls. We praise God that on an average day the Lord is bringing 3 young people to our ministry communities and every 4th day one young person to salvation in the Lord! God does this. Our part is to join him, being available to share God’s story and our story.

We passionately desire to add to the body of Christ, but according to Luke, it’s God’s choice. In Philippi, the Lord added a woman possessed by a spirit. In Juvenile Detention, the Lord added a 17 year old convicted of murder. In City Life, the Lord added 12 youth in one day (some gender confused). In YFC, we long for the Lord to add young people being saved every day. This is possible, but we can’t do this alone. It will take all of us collaborating together with our time, resources, and prayers. Help us in praying for others to join us this next year so we can continue to grow God’s Kingdom with more young people.
